There’s a reason my clients don’t look back.

I’m Rebecca, a business operations specialist based in the Peak District, Derbyshire, and the person my clients trust to keep everything running smoothly while they focus on what only they can do.

Before I started Rebecca Coulson VA, I spent ten years as a Branch Manager in retail banking, and before that I trained as a Lean Sigma practitioner a methodology all about building smarter, leaner, more efficient processes. That combination of leadership, systems thinking, and operational rigour is exactly what I bring to every client I work with.

In November 2021 I was made redundant, and rather than step back into a structure that didn’t fit my family, I chose to build something of my own. I’d always been the person people turned to when they needed things sorted so the role of VA felt like a natural fit. What I quickly discovered was that my clients needed more than a traditional VA. They needed someone who could think operationally, spot inefficiencies, coordinate moving parts, and hold the whole picture together.

That’s what I do.

In the last 18 months I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Sophie, Founder of Skin and Kin, supporting her from the ground up as she’s grown and driven her business forward. It’s the kind of work I love most embedded, trusted, genuinely useful.

I work entirely on word of mouth, which tells you everything you need to know about how seriously I take the work.
